We provided full technical design and support for the first annual gathering of technology hubs across Africa.
For the first time, technology hubs and incubation spaces were coming together under the umbrella, Afrilabs. The meeting, over 3 days, was a series of thought-leadership lectures with a broad spectrum of workshops across different sectors (fintech, renewable energy, gaming, etc.)

Such a gathering required a completely bespoke audio-visual and connectivity solution from the spatial/scenic design and large format displays of the plenary hall to widespread internet connectivity across 2500 square metres.
The plenary hall was an artistic transformation of the amphitheatre with large murals, custom-made furniture and an abstract videowall which served as the backdrop for panel discussions and showcased the new Afrilabs logo.

The presentation management system gave presenters the option of self-service or being remotely assisted from the tech bench. The meeting was also made available to the online community via live stream.
